A short story about us

Our mission

Fungi Minds exists to explore, connect, and activate the intelligence of fungi as a source of inspiration for science, creativity, and new ways of thinking.
Our mission is to build an open, interdisciplinary community that learns from fungal systems to foster collaboration, resilience, and regenerative practices.

Through research, education, dialogue, and hands-on initiatives, we aim to:

  • Share knowledge about fungi and mycelial intelligence

  • Encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration and innovation

  • Inspire regenerative approaches to environmental and social challenges

  • Cultivate decentralized, cooperative ways of learning and working

Our vision

We envision a future where humanity learns from fungi, embracing interconnectedness, adaptability, and mutual support as foundations for thriving ecosystems and societies.

Fungi Minds imagines a world in which:

  • Knowledge flows like mycelium: open, distributed, and accessible

  • Communities grow through collaboration rather than competition

  • Regenerative thinking guides science, culture, and technology

  • Humans recognize themselves as part of living networks, not separate from them

Connect like Mycelium

By fostering these connections, we aim to build a vibrant network where knowledge is shared, ideas are exchanged, and innovative initiatives can flourish. Whether through workshops, events, research projects, or creative endeavors, Fungi Minds seeks to highlight the ecological, cultural, and societal significance of fungi, while inspiring curiosity, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the fungal world.
