Get to know the community

We are a collective of people brought together by a shared curiosity and passion for fungi, spanning science and arts. Fungi Minds community is inspired by the way fungal networks themselves operate. In nature, underground systems known as mycorrhizal networks connect plants and organisms, allowing them to share nutrients, signals, and resources in a mutually supportive way. Our community, built around fungi, mirrors this idea, functioning as networks of knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and collective growth.

Organigram

Our organigram draws inspiration from a mushroom: each part reflects a role within our organization.
The cap embodies vision, the hymenium (where spores are produced) represents the production of our activities, the spores (which disseminate) symbolize communication, the hyphae (which explore underground) represent resource research, and the mycelium represents community building.

Worksphere and interconection

Workspheres are a living network of people, ideas, and collaboration, where connection is at the heart of everything. Like mycelium beneath the forest floor, it weaves invisible threads that link individuals, nurture growth, and allow knowledge and resources to flow. Through this interconnection, Workspheres foster resilience, creativity, and collective intelligence, reminding us that true strength emerges when we grow and evolve together.

People and culture

Our people are what make Fungi Minds unique.

We cultivate a supportive environment where individuals can grow, learn, and thrive together.

We believe in giving everyone a voice. Our community is thoughtfully nurtured to encourage collaboration, creativity, and meaningful engagement, allowing each person to contribute to a shared, living ecosystem.
